MarineMax treasurer resigns

CLEARWATER — MarineMax announced in a filing that Kurt Frahn, its vice president of finance, chief accounting officer and treasurer, plans to retire from the company. Although his retirement will be official on Dec. 10, he has agreed to consult with the company for a year as needed.

The filing says that Frahn is leaving to pursue another opportunity.

Frahn's principal duties have been assumed by Michael McLamb, the company's executive vice president and chief financial officer, and others within the company.

At the same time the Clearwater-based boat retailer, has added Frances Allen, executive vice president and chief brand officer for Denny's Corp., to its board of directors. Allen was previously chief marketing officer for Dunkin' Donuts.
