A nonprofit that connects retired executives with business owners for mentoring opportunities is looking for volunteers. The group, Manasota Score, specifically seeks retirees who can work one-on-one with entrepreneurs in a range of businesses.

“Our goal,” Manasota Score Mentor Recruitment Committee Chairman Charles Sax says in a release, “is to develop a diverse group of applicants for the Score mentor training program from communities throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties, to increase our ability to serve the area's entire business community.”

Score, founded in 1964, has more than 12,000 retired business executives who work with new and existing businesses nationwide. Manasota Score has more than 60 volunteers. For more information on becoming a Manasota Score mentor, contact Charles Sax at [email protected] or visit www.manasota.score.org.
