TAMPA — United Airlines has chosen the Tampa Bay area as the first region to be featured as part of an economic development series by United “Hemispheres,” its in-flight magazine.
The magazine will profile Tampa Bay's business climate on more than 20 pages, a news release says. Economic development organizations in the Tampa Bay area will guide the content, which will include information such as why Tampa Bay is a good place to invest or relocate, and what makes the area unique and attractive for business.
The feature will be in magazines on flights and online [www.hemispheresmagazine.com] for the month of July and will reach an estimated 12.3 million passengers, the release says.
“This is an incredible opportunity to share the story of our great community with a massive worldwide audience,” David Pizzo, chairman of the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corp. and West Florida market president for Florida Blue, says in the release.
