Bradenton's Mag-Dise LLC buys Rasher Tierney's, and second building

SELLER: Ronald and Rita Greenbaum
PROPERTY: 5106 and 5112 W. 14th St., Bradenton
PRICE: $850,000
PREVIOUS PRICE: $458,600, November 1989
TITLE FIRM ON DEED: Barnes Walker Title Inc., Bradenton

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: An acquisition entity led by Jacob Traub of Bradenton purchased the former 6,880-square-foot former Rasher Tierney's building and a 2,880-square-foot retail building for $850,000.

The price equated to $87 per square foot. That figure is less than the two-year average price per square foot for retail space ($146) in the Tampa Bay area, according to the CoStar Group.

Rasher Tierney's Irish Pub & Restaurant previously occupied the larger building. The smaller building houses Discount Auto Insurance, India Bazaar and Express Tax.

The Business Observer was unable to contact Traub for comment prior to deadline.

The purchase entity Mag-Dise LLC mortgaged the property from Ronald and Rita Greenbaum for $450,000.
