Cabot Properties company buys Currie Davis industrial building

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: An affiliate of Cabot Properties Inc. purchased a 169,893-square-foot warehouse distribution building in Interstate Park of Commerce for $10.15 million.

The price equated to $60 per square foot. That's higher than the two-year average price per square foot for industrial space ($46) in the Tampa Bay area, according to the CoStar Group.

The 5-year-old building is a distribution center for janitorial, paper and food service product company LagasseSweet.

Cabot Properties Funds already owns property at 5806 N. 53rd St. and 5300 Ulmerton Road in Tampa and 1502, 1527 and 1551 102nd Ave. N., St. Petersburg. The private-equity real estate firm has invested $5.2 billion in industrial real estate, and manages and operates more than 125 million square
