TAMPA — Kforce Inc., the Tampa-based provider of staffing services, has named Joseph J. Liberatore as its new president, effective in January. Liberatore is the company's chief financial officer and executive vice president. He has been with the firm since 1988.

Kforce also named David M. Kelly as its new chief financial officer, effective in January. He currently serves as senior vice president of finance and accounting, and as corporate assistant secretary.

The firm's current president, Bill Sanders, who joined Kforce in 1999, will remain with the company as vice chairman until his retirement, expected in June 2013, according to David L. Dunkel, chairman and CEO. “Bill may continue to serve the firm as vice chairman in a limited capacity beyond his expected retirement date,” Dunkel says in a statement.

Naming Liberatore and Kelly to their new posts was a result of Kforce's succession planning process. “Both have demonstrated an extraordinary record of accomplishments in a number of roles with the firm,” Dunkel says in the release. Liberatore's strength has been his operational and financial expertise and knowledge of the staffing industry, including tech staffing, while Kelly's financial abilities have helped the company's operating efficiency, according to Dunkel.

Kforce has more than 2,300 associates, and some 10,500 consultants on assignment. It operates 63 U.S. offices and one in the Philippines.
