ST. PETE BEACH — The Loews Don CeSar Hotel, known as the Pink Palace, has named Jim Caul as its director of sales and marketing. Caul will oversee sales, marketing, revenue management, spa, public relations and reservations.

Caul will also oversee the overall strategy for the 277-room historic hotel, which was recently renovated, a release says.

Caul was previously with the Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort in Henderson, Nev., where he served as director of sales and marketing and prior to that, director of sales. In May, Caul earned the Marketer of the Year Award at the Loews Hotels annual meeting.

The Don CeSar in St. Pete Beach is owned by Loews Hotel & Resorts, headquartered in New York City. Loews owns and/or operates 18 hotels and resorts in the U.S. and Canada.
