Michael Greenberg, a veteran of WCI Communities, is back in the homebuilding game.
Sarasota homebuilder Pat Neal recently appointed Greenberg to spearhead his entry into Lee and Collier counties.
Few people know the region as well as Greenberg. As a senior executive with WCI and prior to that with Avatar Properties and Toll Brothers, Greenberg has been involved in the sales, development and construction of 25,000 homes worth $10 billion over his 34-year career.
Greenberg formed an investment-consulting firm called KD Merick during the real estate bust with Eric Feinstein, another homebuilding industry alumnus.
Already, Greenberg is leading Neal's efforts in several communities including Verandah in Fort Myers, Villa Palmeras and Esencia in Estero, and another undisclosed new community in Naples.
