Benderson buys Bradenton plaza for $1.73M

SELLER: Kimco Delaware Inc. fka The Kimco Corp., Joan Eigen and Barry Singer, individually and co-trustees of the will and testament of Alan Kimmel

PROPERTY: 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2100, 2106 and 2108 W. Cortez Road, Bradenton

PRICE: $1.73 million

LAW FIRM ON DEED: Kimco Realty Corp., New Hyde Park, N.Y.

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: University Park-based Benderson Development Co. LLC purchased the 30,938-square-foot Lakeside Plaza from developer Kimco Realty for $1.73 million.

The price equated to $56 per square foot.

The sale included a strip center and the Carrabba's Italian Grill outparcel building. It did not include the Home Depot building and a separate building with Aaron's and a vacant tenant space.

Stan Rutstein of Re/Max Alliance Group represented the buyer and Mark Shellabarger of CBRE represented the seller.

The strip center building was originally constructed in 1968 and renovated in 1989. It was 64% occupied at the time of the sale, according to Shellabarger.
