PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Ashton Woods Homes purchased 105 lots in the Tanglewood Preserve community for $2.32 million.

The price equated to $22,117 per lot.

Ashton Woods Homes previously developed in the 200-lot community five years ago, but it stopped when the market declined during the recession.

“We've been there the past few months and it's been doing very well,” says Mike Roche, vice president of sales and marketing of Ashton Woods Homes. “It's a very good looking community and the homeowners that are there take care of their houses and yards. It seems that the market has started to turn a little bit.”

The homebuilder plans to offer seven floor plans in the community ranging from about 1,600 to 3,000 square feet. It plans to start permitting soon to have two model homes open in the community by late September for the 2012/2013 sales season. Homes will start in the low to mid-$100,000s.
