NAPLES — Shamrock Bank of Florida says it has received regulatory approval to open a branch in Ave Maria, a new town in eastern Collier County.
In a statement, Shamrock president and CEO Colleen Kvetko says the new branch will occupy space that was built by developer Barron Collier Companies in 2009 for a bank but was never occupied. The branch will open in the fall.
Ave Maria and Shamrock have common roots. Barron Collier and Domino's Pizza founder Tom Monaghan partnered to build the new town, which is built around Catholic Ave Maria University. Monaghan is also a founder and director of Naples-based Shamrock Bank.
This will be Shamrock's third branch. The bank, which recently reported $95 million in assets, also has a loan center in Naples.
