BUYER: Paradise Furnishings LLC (principals: Lynn and Thomas Mount), Naples

SELLER: FHS Naples LP

PROPERTY: 661 Ninth St. N., Naples

PRICE: $1 million

PREVIOUS PRICE: $1.35 million, January 1999

LAW FIRM ON DEED: SFT&T LLC dba South Florida Trust & Title, Bonita Springs

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Lynn and Thomas Mount of Naples purchased a 6,890-square-foot vacant medical office building on U.S. 41 for $1 million.

The price equated to $145 per square foot.

Constructed in 1972, the building is located near the Fifth Avenue retail district. It previously housed a DaVita Dialysis Center.

Gary Tasman and Doug Olson of Commercial Property Southwest Florida LLC, a Cushman and Wakefield alliance member, handled the transaction.

“The building was old and needed to be renovated,” Tasman says.

The Mounts plan to redevelop the building in tropical modern style to house a boutique vintage furnishings and accessories store called Paradise Furnishings. The new store is scheduled to open in the fall.
