TAMPA -- TruGreen, a lawn care company based in Memphis, Tenn., plans to hire 175 new employees from the Tampa workforce to staff its sales center in the Netpark office campus on Hillsborough Avenue.
The company is filling two types of positions: seasonal sales associates, who will be paid by the hour, and permanent management positions paid by salary.
TruGreen offers employees an on-site gym, on-campus daycare, and three weeks of paid professional training.
Two job fair orientation events are scheduled for Jan. 28 at the company's facility in Netpark, at 5701 E. Hillsborough Ave.
TruGreen serves more than 2.5 million residential and commercial customers in the U.S., through a network of 250 branch locations. The firm is a subsidiary of ServiceMaster, also based in Memphis. Other ServiceMaster companies include Terminix, Merry Maids, and American Home Shield.
