SARASOTA — The latest First Watch location in Florida, which opened in Sarasota earlier this week, showcases the daytime-only restaurant chain's new interior design concept.

The design, called Connect, was launched last fall and tested in First Watch locations in Nashville, Jacksonville and Solon, Ohio. The concept connects the restaurants' traditional design elements with new color tones and natural light, according to a First Watch press release. The design also includes an open-kitchen concept.

The new First Watch is on Cattlemen Road, just west of the Bee Ridge Road exit of Intestate 75. It's the fifth Sarasota-Bradenton location for the Lakewood Ranch-based breakfast-lunch-brunch chain.

“We are proud of the continued success and expansion in our home state,” First Watch chief marketing officer Chris Tomasso says in the release. “We have established a loyal following in Sarasota over the years and are excited to introduce our concept and new interior design to even more customers in the area.”

First Watch now has more than 30 restaurants in Florida and nearly 100 nationwide.
