NAPLES — Lennar Corp., which has contracted to buy 227 single-family and coach home sites in Fiddler's Creek, has opened sales for its second village, Runway Bay, in the 3,964-acre master-planned community. Runway Bay will be a neighborhood of 98 single-family homes along The Creek Course in the Naples development's Marsh Cove section.
Construction will begin in March with the first model available shortly thereafter.
Each residence at Runaway Bay will be constructed of steel reinforced concrete block and will feature a three-car garage.
Terms and the take-down schedule of Fiddler's Creek LLC' s lot sale to Lennar were not disclosed. The acquisition marked Miami-based Lennar's entrance to the community. It plans to start construction on sites in the village of Millbrook within the Aviamar section.
Launched in 1998, Fiddler's Creek is zoned for a total of 6,000 residences in nearly 100 neighborhoods.
Lennar Corp. builds homes in 17 states, including 11 markets in Florida.
