Stevens recently hired two superintendents and a project manager who have experience with health care projects, including hospitals and surgery centers in the region. The company is currently working on renovations at Florida Hospital Tampa and Florida Hospital Carrollwood.

Besides Tampa, Stevens Construction also has offices in Orlando. The company is renovating a five-story medical office building and has two more projects scheduled to begin in the Orlando area.

Stevens Construction has earned Contractor of the Year award for two years in a row in 2011 and 2012 from the Lee Building Industry Association.
