Fiat showroom opens in Brandon

BRANDON — The Ed Morse Automotive Group has opened a Fiat dealership at the Brandon Auto Mall.

The company held a recent grand opening at the new showroom to introduce the “Italian-style” Fiat brand.

“As the only Fiat studio in Hillsborough County we have generated tremendous interest and traffic,” says Peter Snelling, general manager, in a company press release.  “Sales have been steady and we have brought excitement to the area with a 'taste of Italy' in Brandon.”

The showroom represents a new franchise for Fiat, Snelling noted in a brief phone conversation. The franchise was established a few months ago, but it was inaugurated with the grand opening.

The Ed Morse Automotive Group has 15 locations in Florida. Company Chairman Ed Morse and his father founded the company more than 65 years ago, according to the company.
