TAMPA — Kavaliro, a national recruiting agency with a focus on IT, engineering and finance jobs, plans a major expansion in the Tampa Bay area.

The Orlando-based company intends to enlarge its Tampa staff and expand into a new facility. In total, Kavaliro plans to hire up to 70 new consultants and five internal employees within six months, says spokeswoman Tyger Danger.

“They are primarily focused on the I-4 corridor,” Danger says in an interview today with the Business Review. “Tampa, Orlando, and the areas in-between are such a great area for technology.”

The positions in demand are for full time and temporary work, Danger notes.

Kavaliro places engineers, programmers, database administrators and other specialists in jobs. The staffing company also targets skilled financial workers, including experienced accountants, and hospitality industry employees.
