NAPLES — ASG Software Solutions has acquired NTRglobal, a Dallas-based provider of help-desk software. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Naples-based ASG says the acquisition of NTRglobal will help its large-company customers better manage their information technology help desks with the software's automation features.

NTRglobal, which also maintains offices in France, Germany and Spain, has 14,000 corporate customers throughout 60 countries that rely on its software to manage technology help desks remotely. “Automated daily tasks are monitored through a single-pane console, so customer-support experts can quickly resolve potential issues before they cause problems,” says Arthur Allen, president and CEO of privately held ASG.

ASG, founded by Allen more than 25 years ago, specializes in helping large corporations manage big volumes of data.
