CARROLLWOOD — Blue Rock Partners LLC and Konover South LLC partnered to purchase the Marbrisa Apartments in Carrollwood for $15.5 million.

Marbrisa contains 224 one- and two-bedroom units, with floor plans ranging between 629 and 1,061 square feet. In a statement, Blue Rock says it plans to invest $1.6 million toward new signage, landscaping and other aesthetic improvements. The company also renamed the property as “The Park at Windsor.”

Blue Rock and Konover have purchased three other Tampa Bay apartment communities since 2009: the 244-unit Palm Grove Apartment Homes near East Busch Boulevard and North 50th Street in Tampa, and the 390-unit Park at Dorchester and 204-unit Park at Knightsbridge, both in Brandon.

Blue Rock Partners' offices are located at 9260 Bay Plaza Blvd., Suite 501, in Tampa. Konover South is headquartered in Deerfield Beach.
