SELLER: Julius Sanders

PROPERTY: 403 Main St. E., Immokalee

PRICE: $1.2 million

LAW FIRM ON DEED: Thomas K. Boardman PA, Immokalee

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: The owners of Immokalee's JPM/RDP Farms LLC, Fort Myers' Roger Pruett and the president of San Antonio-based Murphy Tomatoes, Joe Murphy, formed a new company, Perrydale Farms LLC, to buy and operate the former Southern Corporate Packers food processing facility. The new company purchased the 20,780-square-foot building for $1.2 million.

The price equated to $58 per square foot.

Originally built in 1957, the facility occupies an acre site.

The partners plan to use the facility to store and prepare JPM/RDP Farms' roma tomatoes for distribution.

“It's going to be a limited operation,” Murphy says. “We hope to get it operational over the next year or so.”

Perrydale Farms mortgaged the property to the former owner Julius Sanders for $960,000.
