Begley Enterprises Inc. buys Manatee Citgo station

SELLER: Investments of the Gulf Coast LLC

PROPERTY: 4630 W. Manatee Ave., Bradenton

PRICE: $1.33 million

PREVIOUS PRICE: $1.8 million, December 2006

LAW FIRM ON DEED: Robert W. Hendrickson III PA, Bradenton

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Bradenton-based gas station owner/operator Begley Enterprises Inc. purchased the 3,775-square-foot Citgo service station for $1.33 million.

The price equated to $352 per square foot.

The service station features four fuel pumps, a 2,140-square-foot convenience store and a three-bay auto repair facility. The building was originally constructed in 1955.

Begley Enterprises already owns four Shell gas stations in the two-county region, including two on Manatee Avenue, one on Cortez Road and the fourth on Osprey Avenue in Sarasota.

The purchase entity mortgaged the property to 1st Manatee Bank for $1.33 million.
