Medical records firm hiring 70

ST. PETERSBURG — FairWarning Inc., a St. Petersburg-based electronic health records manager, will hire 70 additional employees over the next two years, according to a company release.

The firm's revenues have grown 3,607% since 2006. FairWarning says it expects another year of triple-digit growth in 2011.

FairWarning's specialty focuses on privacy. The company created a software package that offers physicians, clinics and patients secure access to electronic medical records. More than 600 hospitals and 2,200 clinics throughout the U.S., Canada and U.K. use the company's software, a release says.

Kurt Long is FairWarning's founder and CEO. In addition to the firm's St. Petersburg headquarters, FairWarning also operates sales and support offices in London and Paris.
