PLANS, DESCRIPTION: The Catholic Church's Diocese of Venice purchased the 19,904-square-foot Restoration Church building for $3.06 million.

The price equates to $154 per square-foot.

The diocese purchased the church and 4.86-acre property to serve as a parish center to the adjacent St. Agnes Catholic Church.

“We have 40 acres right now with a church and chapel building, but we don't have any meeting space,” says Bob Reddy, assistant communications director for the diocese. “We have 1,300 people there. So when the Restoration Church decided to move we bought it.”

The Restoration Church will continue to occupy a portion of the building for the next year.
