Our friends at Furniture Today tell us that Chinese furniture entrepreneur Samuel Kuo was behind the winning bid for the Robb & Stucky name at a bankruptcy auction.

China-based Samson Holdings reportedly acquired the Fort Myers bankrupt furniture chain's name for $470,000. The trade journal says Samson plans to open Robb & Stucky stores in China next year and may reestablish the brand in the U.S. later.
