The Calkain Cos. has been named the exclusive adviser for the sale of the new D-1 Sports and Training facility being built on the site of the former Circuit City at 6918 Gunn Highway, Tampa. David Sobelman, Calkain's executive vice president, will handle the 33,400-square-foot property.

D-1 Sports has chosen Tampa as its 13th U.S. location and will include its high profile sports training facility, as well as a branch of Westchase Sports Medicine, which will provide rehabilitation services by two of the areas orthopedic surgeons.

D-1 Sports has signed a 10-year lease on the property and will occupy the building in August.
