A $5 million building project in Tampa is being marketed specifically to technology professionals, putting everything they need under one roof.

Ashlyn Park, at 5020 W. Linebaugh Ave., will contain 36,000 square feet in two stories and offer data storage, training facilities and office space when it opens early next year. Tampa-based Rizzetta & Co. is the developer of the red and white building, to be built by Onicx Construction with financing from the Bank of Tampa.

“We are seeing demand by IT departments and professionals for a space where you can have a data center, training space and offices in the same location,” says William Rizzetta, whose firm is partnering with Gregory Zolkos of IT provider Atlas Professional Services on the project. “Having everything together can be a great time-saver.”

The building is already 60% preleased, with the new tenant roster including MI Source, Axiom National, EverTrend Global, Vault Data Centers and VenturesIn.com.

Spaces in the new building will range from 1,300 to 6,300 square feet. The building will feature energy-saving technology such as an air-conditioning system that can reduce energy use by up to 40% compared to many commercial buildings.
