NAPLES — The Naples Children & Education Foundation named Howard Olshansky its executive director, effective March 7. Along with its fundraising arm, the Naples Winter Wine Festival, the Foundation has raised $94.5 million to help children since its inception in 2001.
Olshansky has amassed nonprofit leadership experience through several organizations, including: the Arc of the Piedmont, in Charlottesville, Va., where he served as executive director; the Ostroff Group, in Boca Raton (chief operating officer); and The Children's Place at Home Safe, in West Palm Beach (chief executive director).
Olshansky replaces Dawn Montecalvo, who has led the Foundation since 2004. She announced her resignation in June.
