NAPLES -- Sabadell Bank and Trust opened a new office in Naples today.
Sabadell Bank and Trust is the wealth management subsidiary of Sabadell United Bank, a Miami-based institution with 25 office locations throughout Florida, including one each in Hillsborough, Sarasota, and Collier counties.
With $3.67 billion in assets as of Sept. 30, Sabadell is the eighth-largest bank based in Florida.
The new Sabadell Bank and Trust operation in Naples will be headed by Scott Kellett, the former CEO of Bank of Florida Trust Co. Kellett first joined Sabadell -- then known as Lydian Bank -- in 2010, shortly before Bank of Florida's failure, which took place on May 28.
