NAPLES — OnFast, a social media firm that offers to connect small businesses to multiple online networks, is expanding its target audience to include the restaurant market.
OnFast uses specially designed templates for press releases and deal announcements that aim to connect with online search engines. Recently, the company added templates for restaurant clients, enabling them to offer search engine optimization services to a new set of potential customers.
Founder Aaron Shepherd invested $1 million to open OnFast in June. He expects to sign up roughly 1,000 customers before the end of 2011. OnFast was featured in a July issue of the Gulf Coast Business Review (see “Everywhere Fast,” July 15).
