Orlando-based Kavaliro recently launched a free mobile job search application. Using an iPhone or iPad, job seekers can browse Kavaliro's database for employment opportunities.
Kavaliro President Mark Moore says the ability to respond to job opportunities quickly is a key element in landing a new job.
“We noticed that the large staffing companies didn't have a job search app, or if they did it wasn't very good,” says Moore. “We wanted an app that looked good and was very easy to use.”
The app currently is only available for iPhone and iPads, but Moore says versions for Android and BlackBerry devices will be available in about a month.
There are plans to expand the functionality of the device to send push notifications of new job openings. In addition, Moore says the app could also be used to file time cards in the future.
Kavaliro is a staffing company with a focus on information technology and engineering.
