Global Imaging buys Macon firm

Global Imaging Systems, a Tampa-based Xerox subsidiary, acquired Georgia Duplicating Products of Macon. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“With this acquisition, we gain an experienced partner with excellent employees,” said Michael Shea, CEO at Global Imaging Systems. Georgia Duplicating Products was founded in 1977, and today is one of the largest independent office machinery dealers in the state.

Xerox acquired Global Imaging Systems in 2007.
