PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Naples-based NCH Healthcare System purchased the 7,600-square-foot Medical Arts Building for $2.7 million.
The price equated to $355 per square foot.
The half-acre property, which borders the downtown Naples Hospital campus, will be used as medical office space. The health system will also consider using the property for additional hospital parking and potential redevelopment.
NCH Healthcare System is a nonprofit that operates several medical facilities, including the two Naples hospitals, NCH Downtown Naples Hospital and NCH North Naples Hospital. The two hospitals have a total of 681 beds. The system, which employs 3,000 people, also runs walk-in centers, specialized care centers and outpatient rehabilitation facilities. It's affiliated with Naples Diagnostic Imaging Center.
