PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Glen Burnie, Md.-based R.E. Michel Co. Inc. purchased two Ferguson Heating & Cooling industrial buildings in Tampa for $1.88 million.
The price equated to $43 per square foot.
The purchase covered a 20,220- square-foot industrial building on Anderson Road and a 23,620-square-foot building on Sabal Industrial Boulevard.
Ed Miller and Dee Seymour of Colliers International Tampa Bay represented the seller and Mark McKell, also of Colliers International Tampa Bay, represented the buyer.
Both R.E. Michel and Ferguson Heating & Cooling distribute HVAC supplies. Ferguson recently decided to consolidate some of its offices, while R.E. Michel sought properties for expansion.
R.E. Michel will move a nearby leased operation to the Anderson Road building. The company plans to renovate and expand the Sabal Industrial Boulevard building to include a showroom.
