PLANS, DESCRIPTION: A dental laboratory purchased the 13,840-square-foot Silk Loom building for $900,000.
The price equated to $65 per square foot.
Odessa-based Hiraku Corp. acquired the six-year-old building with plans to occupy it. Hiraku makes dentures, implants, crowns and other dental products.
The deal was a short sale.
Sylvia Weigand and Ray Mihara with Wingate & Associates Inc. represented the seller and Vanna Nguyen with Century 21 Executive represented the buyer.
Hiraku mortgaged the property to Regions Bank for $720,000.
