PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Robert Bridge of St. Petersburg purchased the 15,600-square-foot Fountains Office Center for $775,000.

The price equated to $50 per square foot.

The three-story commercial building, originally built in 1973, was renovated in 2005. The property was sold as an investment, according to the Sarasota Multiple Listing Service. Bridge couldn't be reached for comment.

The purchase entity Fountains Office Center LLC mortgaged the property to Insignia Bank for $581,250.
