PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Florida Radiology Consultants purchased an 8,400-square-foot office building for $975,000. The price equated to $116 per square foot.
The Fort Myers radiology medical practice will relocate its administrative offices to the building, which is near the intersection of College and Winkler roads. Those employees had been working from a leased location on Swamp Cabbage Court.
“Our lease was running out where we are now,” says Dan Halvatzis, chief financial officer for the group. “We found that for what we are paying in rent, the group could own a building.”
Stan Stouder of CB Richard Ellis, Fort Myers/Naples brokered the transaction.
The purchase entity Flarad Properties LLC mortgaged the property to SunTrust Bank for $841,500.
