Circle K Stores buys Clark Road Exxon station


BUYER: Circle K Stores Inc. (principals: Brian Hannasch, Mike Struble, Robert Kittleson, Dan Abernathy, Geoffrey Haxel and Sylvain Aubry), Tampa


SELLER: GEC Sarasota LLC


PROPERTY: 5651 Clark Road, Sarasota


PRICE: $2.69 million


PREVIOUS PRICE: $900,000, April 2002

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Circle K Stores Inc. purchased a 4,520-square-foot Exxon convenience store on Clark Road east of Honore Avenue from Davie-based One Corp. for $2.69 million. The purchase price equated to $595 per square foot. Built in 2002, the convenience store features a 3,900-square-foot canopy and a 782-square-foot car wash. The gas station occupies a 1.8-acre site.


Circle K has more than 3,000 stores in the United Sates and more than 4,000 international stores.
