McGarvey Development builds villas in Quail West

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Two real estate entities controlled by John McGarvey of McGarvey Development Co. and McGarvey Custom Homes, purchased 45 villa lots in the 1,180-acre Quail West community for $3.23 million.
The purchase price equated to $71,667 per lot.
McGarvey has a minority interest in the seller, Quail West Development Co. LLC, an investor group that bought 262 undeveloped home lots in Quail West Golf & Country Club, the country club, two golf courses and other amenities for $13.5 million early last year.
The smaller 45 villa lots come from subdividing 15 Quail West home lots.
McGarvey Custom Homes will build the 2,965- to 3,491-square-foot single-family villas and has already developed two model homes.
Alan Freeman, Dan Gerner, McGarvey, Bill Price and Fred Rice own Quail West Development Co.
