Creative Contractors Inc., a Clearwater-based company headquartered on Drew Street, will build the new School of Business at St. Leo University in Pasco County.

The job requires the construction of a four-story, 50,000 square-foot facility, with an estimated value of $9 million. Project managers plan to achieve LEED certification, a release said.

Josh Bomstein, vice president of business development at Creative, spoke to Tampa Bay Editor Carl Cronan about increased demand for LEED certification among existing building owners for his story titled “Green makes green.”

“There is a significant increase in interest,” Bomstein said.

Founded in 1974, Creative averages roughly $75 million in annual project revenues.
