HSN Inc. will soon begin operating a second 24-hour television channel that lets viewers shop from home. HSN2 will first be broadcast on DISH Network on Aug. 1, a release said.
“With different personalities, great brands and products airing simultaneously on each of our channels, customers will enjoy twice the entertainment, inspiration and discoveries," said HSN CEO Mindy Grossman.
The newer channel will in part be used to test developing concepts, and will focus on customer feedback.
Based in St. Petersburg, HSN Inc. (symbol: HSNI) has a market capitalization of more than $1.5 billion.
