PLANS, DESCRIPTION: A real estate investment firm purchased the 50-room The Springs Resort for $1.3 million. The price equated to $26,000 per room.


The buying entity, Thomas A Harding LLC, is led by Constantine Venetis of Bonita Springs. The ownership plans to rebrand the motel as a Days Inn and build a restaurant.


The two-story motel features a freshwater swimming pool, laundry and banquet facilities and two warm mineral springs.


The motel was originally built in 1965. It's located on a 2.68-acre parcel at the southeast corner of Constitution Boulevard and U.S. 41.
