PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Solana Vista Apartments LLC purchased the 200-unit Fisherman's Landing Apartments for $10.4 million.
The price equated to $52,000 per unit.
Solana Vista Apartments LLC is an investment group affiliated with the Davie-based real estate firm JB Howell. The new ownership has retained RAM Partners LLC to manage the 17.41-acre property.
The complex will be renamed Solana Vista Apartments.
The investment group doesn't have any immediate plans to improve the property, according to a representative for JB Howell.
The previous owner had performed a number of improvements.
The gated apartment complex features a clubhouse, car-care center, swimming pool and barbecue area. It also has lighted tennis courts, a business center, a playground and a fitness center.
CoStar Group, a real estate research firm, reports that the average unit size in the complex is 940 square feet.
The same investment group bought the 348-unit Bridgeview Apartments on Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa for $20.8 million late last year.
