After spending several months searching for a buyer, OSI Restaurant Partners has taken several of its Asian properties off the market.

Since January, OSI has been trying to sell company-owned Outback Steakhouse restaurants located in Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong, a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission shows. But a suitable match was not found, and the attempt to sell has ended.

The company now says it will invest in Asian markets by opening additional restaurants, and launching new marketing efforts.

Based in Tampa, OSI Restaurant Partners manages several popular restaurant brands, including Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba's Italian Grill, and Bonefish Grill.
