SELLER: Brandon Joint Venture

PROPERTY: 9203 Adamo Drive, Brandon

PRICE: $1.1 million

PREVIOUS PRICE: $690,000, September 1991

LAW FIRM ON DEED: Pilka & Associates, Lakeland

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Bayshore Automotive purchased the former Brandon Suzuki dealership real estate for $1.1 million. The price equated to $186 per square foot.

The 0.99-acre property, which has frontage on Adamo Drive and U.S. 301, features a 5,901-square-foot, five-year-old building.

Darren Vivolo has run Bayshore Automotive as an Internet-based pre-owned dealership, specializing in exotic cars, for the past 10 years. Adding a real-world retail location marked a significant change for the business.

“We used to sell on Ebay and Autotraders.com,” Vivolo says. “But I decided it was to time to transition to outside sales. I couldn't have picked a better location. We're in the hub of auto row.”

The dealership site is near Brandon Ford, Courtesy Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep, Courtesy Scion, Courtesy Toyota, Brandon Honda, James Rivard Buick GMC and more.

Vivolo has since painted the building, installed new signage and added a iron fence to the property.

Anthony Mazzucca of Sperry Van Ness Blackpoint Realty handled the transaction.

The purchase entity Vivolo Ventures Inc. mortgaged the dealership real estate and some additional property to First Citrus Bank for $460,000 and a future advance of $575,000.
