PLANS, DESCRIPTION: K&K Steel Pipe Wholesalers Inc. purchased two warehouse buildings at the northwest corner of Sydney Road and Commerce Drive in Plant City from the creditors of Golden Aluminum Extrusions for $1.95 million.

The purchase included a 47,867-square-foot prefabricated metal warehouse on three acres at the corner and a 288,951-square-foot warehouse north of it on 26 acres. K&K Steel Pipe Wholesalers plans to relocate to the larger warehouse building in February from a much smaller building it owns at 8020 E Broadway Ave., Tampa.

“It's about six times bigger,” says Roy Copeland, manager of K&K Steel Pipe Wholesalers. “We're looking to get more of our pipes indoors. We're not sure yet what we will do with the other one until we move. We'll probably sell it, but we won't know until we get it empty. ”
