PLANS, DESCRIPTION: North Fort Myers resident Bill Hanson purchased the 27,422-square-foot All Star Lanes bowling alley for $1.9 million.

The price equated to $69 per square foot.

Built in 1962, All Star Lanes has 24 lanes, a full-service bar, a restaurant and banquet facilities.

Hanson was previously the director of operations for Bowland Centers, the bowling alley's prior owner.

“It was one of the centers I was running, so when the opportunity came up, I decided to buy it,” Hanson says. “It needs a new paint job. We will be changing out some of the scoring monitors, TVs and making some other upgrades over the next couple years.”

The purchase entity AllStar Bowling Inc. mortgaged the property to the former owner for two loans totaling $429,800 and to United Midwest Savings Bank for $1.33 million.
