Entrepreneur buys Alico park building

SELLER: CNL Bank


PROPERTY: 8030 Supply Drive, Fort Myers


PRICE: $1.9 million


PREVIOUS PRICE: $5.49 million, June 2009

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Naples businessman Randal Bellestri purchased a 59,400-square-foot building in Alico Industrial Park for $1.9 million.


The price equated to $32 per square foot.


The two-year-old building features 5,835 square feet of office space and occupies 4.99 acres.


Bellestri plans to have an aerospace manufacturing business occupy the building.


It was initially built to house Taylor Rental, but was never occupied. Aside from the office, most of the rest of the building's interior is unfinished.


Bellestri is the former owner aerospace equipment and component manufactures in Michigan. He sold both companies in 2008 for $314 million in cash and stock.


Bellestri couldn't be reached for comment.


Mark Alexander of Sperry Van Ness-Mark Alexander & Co. Inc. represented the seller, CNL Bank, which took back the building in 2009.


John Josephson of ARC Realty Advisors in Naples represented the buyer.
