PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Scottsdale, Ariz.-based homebuilder Taylor Morrison purchased 77 single-family home lots in Tampa Palms for $3.61 million.


The price equated to $46,883 per lot.


The homebuilder acquired lots on the east end of the 198-lot Tuscany neighborhood in Tampa Palms. Infrastructure for the lots is already in place.


“The whole New Tampa area is extremely sought after,” says Jeff Cooper, vice president of sales and marketing with the West Florida division of Taylor Morrison. “There's good schools and tons of activities. We didn't have a footprint there, so we decided to expand into the region.”


Taylor Morrison expects to have a model home completed in the community by the end of January.
