PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Investors Bjorn and Franz Rosinus purchased 8,490 square feet in a business condo building and 20 acres of vacant land for $2.5 million.

The property, in Alico Road Business Park, is leased to Algenol Biofuels, which studies how to create ethanol from algae. Algenol leases 43,000 square feet of space in the park and an adjoining 40 acres.

“We just acquired it as an investment,” says Bjorn Rosinus. “We owned that property five years ago and just bought it back. I developed Alico Road Business Park and still own a lot of it.”

The purchase entity BJR&FJR LLC mortgaged the building to Montgomery Bank for $2.72 million.
